Applications are now open for the IACC Young Journalists Programme 2026, a fully funded international journalism opportunity organized by Transparency International. The program will bring 10 young journalists from around the world to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, to attend the 22nd International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) from 1 to 4 December 2026.
Selected participants will receive a round-trip economy flight, five nights of accommodation, meals during the conference, and reimbursement of approved visa processing costs. During the conference, young journalists will interview global leaders, report on anti-corruption issues, attend conference sessions, and receive mentorship from the IACC communications team. Applications will remain open until 15 July 2026.
The Young Journalists Programme is designed for journalists at the beginning of their careers who already have experience reporting on social, political, or economic issues. Participants will gain practical international reporting experience while expanding their professional network with journalists, policymakers, civil society representatives, and anti-corruption experts from different countries.
The program focuses on covering one of the world’s largest conferences dedicated to transparency, integrity, and anti-corruption. During the event, selected journalists will attend discussions, interview speakers and activists, and produce stories based on conference sessions. After returning home, participants are expected to publish at least one report in a media outlet.
