The One Young World Leading Scholarship 2026 is now open for applications from outstanding young leaders worldwide. Organized by the One Young World, this flagship scholarship enables exceptional individuals, especially those from underrepresented countries, to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3 to 6 November 2026.
The scholarship aims to ensure that talented young changemakers working on sustainable development, social impact, and community leadership can participate in one of the world’s largest gatherings of young leaders without financial barriers.

Financial Benefits
Selected scholars will receive:
- Full delegate access to the One Young World Summit 2026
- Hotel accommodation from 2 to 6 November 2026
- Daily meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Round-trip travel to and from Cape Town
- Flights must depart from and return to the same airport
Note: Visa application fees and any related visa expenses are not covered and must be paid by the participant.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be 18 to 35 years old
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to creating positive social impact
- Be actively addressing important local or global challenges
- Show a proven record of innovative leadership and meaningful community impact
Applicants who will be under 18 years old at the time of the Summit are not eligible.
Selection Process
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, meaning eligible candidates may be selected before the final deadline.
Priority will be given to:
- Applicants from countries that have been historically underrepresented at previous One Young World Summits
- First-time Summit participants who are not already One Young World Ambassadors
Successful applicants will be notified via email between June and October 2026.
