University of Manchester Global Futures Scholarship 2027 Benefits

The scholarship provides a reduction in international tuition fees. The award differs according to the level of study.

Undergraduate Scholarship

Eligible undergraduate students from South Asia can receive up to £36,000 over three years.

Eligibility Criteria

For Undergraduate Students

Applicants for the undergraduate Global Futures Scholarship 2027 must meet the University of Manchester’s country-specific requirements.

• Must be an international fee-paying student.
• Must be domiciled in an eligible country.
• Applicants must have predominantly lived in their country of domicile during the last three years.
• Must be applying for direct first-year entry in 2027.
• Must have, or be working towards, an eligible qualification such as A-levels, IB Diploma or specified Indian Standard XII qualifications.
• Must be self-funded and not sponsored.
• Must select the University of Manchester as their Firm UCAS choice by 15 May 2027.
• The award applies to eligible full-time courses delivered at the University of Manchester’s UK campus.

Scholarship applications are assessed using previous examination results, predicted grades and the strength of the applicant’s personal statement.

The undergraduate scholarship is not available for Medicine (MBChB), Dentistry (BDS), Architecture or courses with an integrated foundation year. Students who have previously studied in the UK and applicants for blended or distance learning programmes are also not eligible under the stated criteria.

For Master’s Students

Master’s applicants must meet the requirements for their selected course and the Global Futures Scholarship.
