• USTC Fellowship Level A applicants must apply during

Visa, Insurance, Food & Accommodation

1. Visa
   1. Students must apply for a Chinese Student Visa (X Visa) using the Visa Application Form (JW202) and admission notice.
   2. The visa must remain valid for the entire stay.
2. Insurance
   1. International students are required to purchase insurance as mandated by Chinese regulations and USTC policies.
   2. USTC arranges the insurance after students pay the fee.
3. Accommodation
   1. Level A/B students: On-campus accommodation provided (first-come, first-served). If full, students must arrange off-campus housing.
   2. Level C/self-financed students: Must find off-campus housing (USTC provides assistance).
