University of Southern Queensland RTP Scholarship Benefits
The 2027 international PhD scholarship provides financial support for both living costs and tuition fees. The main benefits include:
- AUD $39,000 per year stipend
- Tuition fees covered for up to three years of full-time PhD study
- Opportunities for industry-linked funding through the optional Industry Stream
- Dedicated scholarship opportunities for women in STEMM
- Dedicated opportunities for students with disabilities
The scholarship is applied for as a combined stipend and fee scholarship rather than through separate applications. The tuition fee support covers the maximum scholarship period, with previous periods of study deducted from the available support period.
UniSQ also administers Australian Government Research Training Program scholarships. The RTP can provide a tuition fee offset and a stipend for eligible Higher Degree by Research students. UniSQ’s RTP procedure states that doctoral RTP support can normally continue for up to three years full-time, while the fee offset can cover the full cost of an HDR program within the applicable support period.

Eligibility Criteria
