Benefits of the Tinbergen Institute Master’s Scholarship

First-Year Scholarships (2026–2027 Cohort):

  • Full Scholarship: €1,500 per month
  • Partial Scholarship: €750 per month

Second-Year Scholarships (2026–2028 Cohort):

  • Full Scholarship: €1,000 per month (for students with a weighted GPA of 8.0 or higher in core courses by the end of the first year)
  • Partial Scholarship: €750 per month (for students with a weighted GPA of 7.5 or higher in core courses by the end of the first year)

Note: These scholarships are available to students who have completed the full first-year curriculum and are progressing to the second year of the program.

Eligibility Criteria of the Tinbergen Institute Master’s Scholarship

  • First-Year Applicants: International students admitted to the TI/Business Data Science (BDS) Research Master’s program.
  • Current Students: Existing TI Research Master students advancing to their second year, provided they meet the GPA requirements.
  • Academic Background: A strong academic record in economics, econometrics, data science, or related fields is essential.
