  • Ability to take a leave of absence (or equivalent) from the home institution during the in-residence component.
  • Ability to obtain the required US J-1 visa for travel to the United States and reside in Cambridge, MA during the in-residence period.
  • In the two years before arrival, candidates should not have participated in a full-time fellowship of 4 months or longer.
