FRIAS Fellowship Categories
1. FRIAS Early Career Fellowship Programme
This fellowship is designed for researchers who completed their PhD within the last eight years. Applicants must also have completed at least six months of research or study experience at academic institutions in a country different from the one where they obtained their first academic degree.

This fellowship is intended for researchers working at African institutions.
Applicants must have:
- Completed a PhD
- At least eight years of postdoctoral experience
- At least six months of international research or study experience
- Be based at an African institution
- Duration: 6 months
