Program Structure
DENSYS 2.0 offers a T-shaped education profile, giving students deep technical knowledge and broad interdisciplinary skills:
- 1st & 2nd Semesters (UL, France): Core training in multiphysics, smart energy systems, and case-based problem solving.
- 3rd Semester (Specialization, 30 ECTS): Choose from KTH, PoliTo, or UPC to focus on your preferred energy field.
- 4th Semester (Master Thesis/Internship): Apply your skills in industry or research labs with a hands-on project.
Outcome: Dual degree – Master Energie parcours from UL + specialization-dependent MSc from KTH, PoliTo, or UPC.

Who is Eligible?
You can apply if you meet these requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or energy-related technical fields.
- Core knowledge: Thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, mathematics, and numerical methods.
- English proficiency: TOEFL ≥92, IELTS ≥6.5, or Cambridge CAE/CPE ≥C.
- Bachelor’s students in the final year are also eligible.

- Recommendation letters/self-presentation video: 20 points
- Motivation, work experience, awards: 25 points
- English proficiency: 10 points
