Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet CERN’s student eligibility requirements. They must be studying in a relevant field and have completed at least 18 months of university studies, equivalent to three semesters, in that field at the time of selection.
Applicants must also:
- Be a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State
- Remain enrolled as a full-time student during the studentship
- Have a good knowledge of English or French
- Be studying administration, communication, finance, human resources, law, logistics, procurement or a related subject
- Be required or encouraged by their university to complete practical training
- Have a good understanding of office software and relevant digital tools
PhD students and PhD holders are not eligible for CERN’s Administrative and Technical Studentship category.
