The Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) Scholarship for Young Talents is a fully funded program that supports outstanding international students to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees in China.

The scholarship is jointly offered by the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), and institutes under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Every year, 200 Master’s and 300 PhD students from all over the world are selected.

Eligibility Criteria of CAS-ANSO Scholarship 2026

• Applicants must not be Chinese citizens
• Must be proficient in English or Chinese
• Must meet the admission requirements of USTC/UCAS for Master’s or PhD programs
• Age limit:
  • Master’s applicants: born on or after 1 January 1995
  • PhD applicants: born on or after 1 January 1990
• Applicants should not already be enrolled in a degree program in China

Note: Applicants can only apply to ONE program (USTC or UCAS); applying to both disqualifies you.
