Applications for the 2026 Erasmus Mundus PROMISE Scholarship are now open for all international students. The EMJM PROMISE programme is a 2-year (120 ECTS) joint master’s level study in Sustainable Mineral and Metal Processing Engineering, delivered by a consortium of universities.

The programme responds to the increasing global demand for minerals, metals, and materials, especially in the context of renewable energy, electromobility, digital communication, and the need for sustainable, resource-efficient, and low-impact processing of these materials.

It combines engineering, mineral/metal processing, circular economy, recycling and sustainability. Instruction is entirely in English, and students study at multiple partner institutions in different countries.
