EMOTION is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s program focusing on:

Who Can Apply?
EMOTION welcomes three types of applicants:

Eligibility Requirements
To apply for EMOTION, candidates must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a field related to biology and chemistry
- Provide English proficiency proof (IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge certification)
- Be willing to study in at least two different countries over the course of the program
Applicants from native-English-speaking countries or with a full English-taught degree may be exempt from language proof.

Program Structure
EMOTION is designed for practical learning and career readiness:
- Semester 1 & 2: University of Eastern Piedmont, Italy
- Semester 3: Spain (UMH) or Belgium (UNamur), depending on clinical/non-clinical track
- Semester 4: Six-month elective internship in academia or industry
Workshops and Seminars: Hands-on sessions with professionals, focusing on real-world skills and networking.
Final Thesis: The internship culminates in a research thesis, discussed during the EMOTION Induction Week in Novara.

Mobility Rules Across Universities
- All students must spend two study periods in two countries (minimum 30 ECTS each).
- Students cannot do an internship in the same country as their 3rd semester.
- Mobility is compulsory for Erasmus+ scholarship holders and non-fee-paying self-funded students.
