Eligibility Requirements for the Mauritius Africa Scholarship Scheme
General Requirements
- Must be a citizen of an eligible African country.
- Must apply for a full-time, on-campus program in Mauritius for the 2026 intake.
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (as per Mauritius entry rules, if still applicable).
Age Criteria
- For Undergraduate programs: Applicants must be 18-26 years old by January 1, 2027.
- For Postgraduate (MPhil/PhD): The upper age limit is usually 40 years (check the final guidelines when published).

- For Diploma/Undergraduate: Completed secondary education with qualifying grades.
- For MPhil/PhD: Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic background.

How to Apply for the Mauritius Africa Scholarship
