The Young Leaders Programme 2026 in Vietnam is a fully funded opportunity for young researchers and emerging professionals interested in maritime security, international relations, international law, regional cooperation, and South China Sea affairs. The programme will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam, from 6 to 8 October 2026 as part of the 18th South China Sea International Conference.

The programme is organized under the framework of the South China Sea International Conference hosted by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV). The conference series brings together scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and experts to discuss maritime security, international law, regional cooperation, and developments in the South China Sea. Previous editions have included dedicated sessions for young researchers and leaders.

For the Young Leaders Programme 2026, only eight Young Leaders will be selected. Who Can Apply for the Young Leaders Programme 2026?
