The University of Manchester Equity and Merit Scholarships 2027 are now open for applications in the United Kingdom. The scholarships support academically excellent students from selected African countries who want to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Manchester. For September 2027 entry, scholarship applications are open from 1 August to 31 August 2026. A total of 30 scholarships are available, including 20 scholarships for full-time, on-campus study and 10 scholarships for part-time distance learning programmes.

The University of Manchester Equity and Merit Scholarships are intended for talented applicants who would not otherwise be able to study at Manchester without financial support. The programme supports students who can demonstrate the potential to contribute to sustainable development in their home countries.

  • Malawi
  • Rwanda
  • Tanzania
  • Uganda
  • Zimbabwe
