What is the Taiwan International Internship Program?

The Taiwan International Internship Program is an intensive pre-doctoral research internship designed for undergraduate and master’s students from around the world. The program runs for two months, offering participants the chance to work on cutting-edge research projects alongside experienced scientists and researchers in Taiwan.

Beyond research skills, TIIP also introduces interns to Taiwanese culture and the Chinese language, creating a truly immersive global experience.

Who Can Apply?

  • Eligible Applicants:
    • Undergraduate students in their final year
    • Master’s students
    • Individuals holding a B.S. or a Master’s degree
  • Not Eligible:
    • Ph.D. students
    • Previous TIIP participants
    • Current employees or research assistants at Academia Sinica
