Eligibility Requirements for SZU Doctoral Scholarship

  • Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport
  • Master’s degree holders (or expected graduates)
  • Age under 40
  • Good physical and mental health, compliant with Chinese laws and SZU regulations
  • Language proficiency:
    • Chinese-taught programs: HSK4 more than 180 (Science/Engineering), HSK5 more than 180 (Liberal Arts, Medicine, Arts)
    • English-taught programs: English proficiency certificate (native speakers may be exempted)
