Eligibility Criteria

Required Documents
Applicants for the Harvard Lewis Fellowship must submit:
- A comprehensive résumé or curriculum vitae
- A research and writing project description of no more than four pages
- A statement of interest in law teaching and legal scholarship of no more than four pages
- Copies of all transcripts
- Two letters of reference
The research project description should explain the project the applicant plans to undertake during the fellowship with a view toward publication. The statement on law teaching should discuss the applicant’s interest in legal scholarship and identify the fields in which they expect to teach and conduct research.
Both recommendation letters must be submitted directly by the recommenders through the online application system. The application and both letters must be submitted by the deadline.
