Eligibility Criteria of UNFPA Global Internship
Applicants must meet one of the following academic requirements:
- Be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent program and have completed at least one academic year.
- Be enrolled in a master’s degree or higher postgraduate program.
- Have graduated within the last year and be able to begin the internship within one year of graduation.
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional trainee program where the internship forms part of the curriculum.
Applicants must also:
- Demonstrate an interest in international development.
- Have written and spoken proficiency in English or French and be fluent in the official language used by the hiring UNFPA office (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish).
