African students who have secured admission to some of the world’s leading MBA programs can now apply for the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship 2026. The scholarship provides additional financial support to eligible students pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at one of the top 10 business schools ranked by the Financial Times MBA Global Ranking 2026.
Applications are open from 1 June to 30 June 2026.

What is the TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship?
The TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship is a funding program established in 2011 by the TY Danjuma Family Office. The scholarship aims to support talented African students who have gained admission to globally recognized MBA programs but require additional financial assistance to cover study-related expenses.
Each year, up to eight African students receive scholarship awards. Since its launch, the program has supported students from several African countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Morocco, Togo, and Côte d’Ivoire.
The scholarship is intended to supplement existing funding and is not designed to cover the full cost of an MBA program.

Eligible Business Schools for 2026
To qualify, applicants must have received an offer of admission from one of the Financial Times Top 10 MBA programs for 2026:
- MIT Sloan School of Management
- INSEAD
- The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
- IESE Business School
- London Business School
- HEC Paris
- Esade Business School
- CEIBS
- Berkeley Haas
- Harvard Business School
Only students admitted to MBA programs at these institutions are eligible to apply.

TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship Amount
The TY Danjuma MBA Scholarship does not have a fixed award amount. Applicants are required to submit a detailed budget outlining their MBA expenses, existing funding sources, and any remaining funding gap.
The scholarship is designed to help African students reduce the financial burden of studying at top-ranked global business schools. However, it is not intended to cover the full cost of tuition, living expenses, or other MBA-related costs. Successful applicants are therefore expected to combine the scholarship with other funding sources, such as personal savings, employer sponsorships, grants, student loans, or additional scholarships.

Application Process
